Residents of a Salisbury care home have knitted more than 200 poppies, medals and service personnel figures to commemorate Remembrance Day.
The residents of Care UK's Salisbury Manor, in Shapland Close, teamed up with The Crafty Girls of Salisbury to create the items.
These will be used to help raise funds for the Royal British Legion (RBL).
After weeks of knitting, the residents and staff members presented their creations to the Mayor of Salisbury, Cllr Sven Hocking, and the President of the RBL, Chris Child.
This event also marked the care home's achievement of 'Veteran Friendly' status.

The Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) is a collaboration between armed forces charities Royal Star & Garter, Royal British Legion and NHS Veterans’ Covenant Healthcare Alliance (VCHA), with funding support from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.
To achieve this status, Salisbury Manor had to meet eight standards, including noting armed forces status within care plans, addressing social isolation, and signposting to support services such as the local Royal British Legion branch.

Skye Williams, general manager at Salisbury Manor, said: "We are incredibly proud of the residents for crafting such beautiful poppies and creations for this worthy cause, and we’re honoured to have officially achieved veteran-friendly status.
"This recognition underscores Salisbury Manor’s commitment to supporting those who have served, and we couldn’t be prouder of our team for helping to attain this accreditation.
"For many residents, this time of year holds deep significance, as many lived through the Second World War.
"Knitting these poppies, medals and service personnel figures offered a meaningful way for them to engage in Remembrance Day traditions.
"The team was truly inspired by the collective efforts to make this project a success.
"We’re delighted with the number of poppies created—well done to everyone involved."
Salisbury Manor is designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives while also promoting independence.
The home provides full-time residential care, nursing care, dementia care, and respite care.
The building is configured into a series of individual suites, each with a dedicated lounge/dining room to help facilitate the creation of close-knit communities.
