A CARE home celebrated Halloween with a day of spooky costumes, decorations and food.
Staff, residents and their families enjoyed a special Halloween themed tea party at Fairfax House which had been transformed with festive Halloween decorations; spiderwebs and pumpkins which had been carved by residents earlier in the day.
Staff were dressed up in an assortment of costumes, from witches to vampires and residents enjoyed having their faces painted to look like spooky skeletons or scary spiders. The highlight was the buffet of themed food including ‘deviled’ eggs and spider web cake.
It was an afternoon full of smiles and laughter and one family member said: “This is absolutely superb, you can see how much the residents are enjoying it and how much effort the staff have put in”
