TWO people tried to cut CCTV power cables and force a door open as they attempted to burgle a vape shop in the middle of the night.
The attempted burglary took place at around 2.21am on Monday, October 7 on Catherine Street in Salisbury city centre.
Police have today (Friday, November 1) published CCTV images of two people they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
One is pictured wearing a grey Puma hoodie, glasses and black trainers. The other is shown wearing a black hoodie and patterned trousers.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We would like to speak to these people in connection with an attempted burglary of a vape shop in Catherine Street on October 7 at around 2.21am.
“Two unknown suspects have cut CCTV power cables and attempted to force open a door.
“If you recognise the people pictured, please contact 101 quoting crime reference 54240118082.”
