A MAN and two dogs were rescued from a house as emergency services tackled a blaze.
Just before 8pm on Wednesday, October 30, emergency services were alerted to a fire at a house on Bowers Hill Redlynch.
The fire is said to have affected the ground floor of the property and a man and two dogs were rescued by fire services.

An air ambulance and land ambulance arrived on scene, taking the male casualty to hospital.
Investigations to establish the cause of the fire have begun, and police and fire crews remain on scene.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "We were called at 7.47pm yesterday (October 30) to reports of a property fire at Bowers Hill, Redlynch.
"Two crews from Salisbury and one from Wilton (Dorset & Wiltshire FRS) along with crews from Fordingbridge and Southampton St Mary’s (Hampshire & Isle of Wight FRS) attended, and six breathing apparatus wearers used two hose reel jets and one main jet to extinguish the fire, which affected the ground floor of the property.
"One male casualty and two dogs were rescued from the building and the casualty was left in the care of colleagues from the ambulance service. Our stop was at at 10.29pm, and we had left the scene by 12.45am. A joint investigation with Wiltshire Police into the cause of the fire has now begun."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 19:49hrs on Wednesday 30 October to an incident near Redlynch, Salisbury. We sent one double-crewed land ambulance and an air ambulance to the scene. We conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Salisbury District Hospital.”
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "We responded to reports of a property fire at Bowers Hill, Redlynch, just before 7pm yesterday evening.
"One male casualty and two dogs were rescued from the building.
"Officers attended to establish the cause of the fire and we are currently still on scene."
