PLANS for the Stag Inn have been revealed.

Select Country Inns, an independent hospitality group, has announced that it has purchased The Stag in Charlton-All-Saints, a site that has been empty since 2015.

The property was once a pub, before re-branding as 'Café Continental'. After closing, it was listed to let for several years before being put on the market for sale in 2020.

CEO of Larasian, the parent company of Select Country Inns, Barry Robbins said: “We are always looking for sites that offer potential opportunities. Our plan for The Stag is to renovate the building to bring it back into a good condition.

"The site is in a great location, and we are currently looking at the potential for what it could offer, whether that is a pub/restaurant with rooms or a mixture of retail and hospitality options.

"We are very open to ideas and offers from people who would be interested in managing the site.”

Larasian recently made renovation plans for another building in the area. It hopes to turn the empty Cathedral Hotel site into thirteen luxury suites, an al fresco restaurant and Spitfire rooftop bar.

Plans for The Stag are currently being discussed and the site is being cleared by PWH Building, one of Larasian’s development partners.
