A volunteer from Alderbury has been recognised for her ‘incredible dedication’ working for a charity.
On Tuesday, October 15, Sally Fairall, 61, was recognised by charity Alabaré where she has volunteered for the last 20 years.
She works in the kitchen of Alabaré's drop in homeless shelter in Salisbury, and was nominated by her manager, Jane, for the recognition.

Describing her reaction, Sally said: “It was great, it’s really lovely and really nice of them to do it.
"Thank you to Jane for putting me forward - I am overwhelmed."
In an Instagram post, Alabaré said: 'She goes above and beyond by picking up donations, opening the drop-in alone when needed, and always lending a helping hand wherever she can. Her kindness, empathy, and compassion shine through in her interactions with clients, making a positive impact on everyone she meets.
'Thank you, Sally, for your unwavering support and selflessness.'
Sally was presented with a certificate by the team together with a voucher for a hotel stay away.
