THREE members of the public were unwell days after the Skripals were poisoned with Novichok, the Inquiry has heard.

At the Dawn Sturgess Public Inquiry at the International Dispute Resolution Centre in London on October 28, the footsteps of Sergei and Yulia Skripal were revealed from the day they were poisoned (March 4, 2018).

At 1.41pm on March 4, the Skripals walked through the Maltings to the River Avon, standing by the railings near Market Walk.

Sergei can be seen in the CCTV footage feeding the ducks in the river, handing bread to a boy who is stood nearby at 1.42pm.

He said: 'There were three of them (people feeding the ducks near Sergei), so efforts were made to trace them, knowing at this point Sergei had been contaminated. We did eventually manage to do so.

'Reporting suggested that in fact all three had been ill for a day or two after this but the illness had passed and at some point in the future several weeks later they were tested but were not found to have any traces of contamination.'

The inquiry continues until December 2.
