BBC Children in Need's Pudsey Bear delighted youngsters at an Amesbury family group.
The bear visited Wyndham Hall on September 24.
The venue is home to a weekly parent and children group run by Home-Start South Wiltshire.
The charity was awarded £45,000 over three years from BBC Children in Need in 2023 to help with running costs.
The group supports parents with children under five, hosting tailored weekly sessions to help youngsters become "school-ready."
Jane Rouse, group leader, said: "Pudsey was a real hit with the children.
"Some of the older ones crowded around and talked to him and touched him and some of the little babies stroked his furry hands."
Pudsey’s visit will feature on BBC South Today in the second week of November.
The group meets on Tuesday at Wyndham Hall, 11.30am to 1.30pm, and Wednesday at the Friary Centre in Salisbury.
