A PUB that has been derelict for nearly 10 years has sold.
The Stag Inn, at Charlton-All-Saints, closed in March 2015 and has been empty, boarded up and overgrown ever since on the edge of the A338.
The property was once a pub, before re-branding as 'Café Continental'. After closing in 2015, it was listed to let for several years before being put on the market for sale in 2020, and selling in October 2024 by estate agents Fleurets.

The property, located between Downton and Salisbury, consists of a bar and restaurant, kitchen, dry store, toilets, beer store, five bedrooms and a sitting room. Outside there is parking space for more than 30 cars and a terraced garden area.
The Stag was listed on the estate agents website for £275,000. Bidding took place in August/September, and now it has sold at an undisclosed price.
Fleurets has said on its website: 'It should be noted the premises require complete refurbishment.'
Plans for the site are yet to be confirmed, but the purchaser has been contacted.
