A Salisbury care home has announced that it has been shortlisted for two awards in a set of industry awards.
Milford House Care Home has reached the finals in the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) National Activity Awards.
Carer and activities co-ordinator Gale Louw is a finalist for the Arts in Care Homes Award and Scarlet Leatham for the Lifetime Achievement Award.
There are just two finalists in each category and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony being held in Liverpool on January 24 following the NAPA conference.

These awards are open to nominees across the country who work within a care setting and promote and celebrate excellence in activity provision.
General manager Aga Musial said: "To be nominated and selected as a finalist from amongst all the entries is a fantastic achievement and, whatever the results, they are both already winners in our eyes for achieving this recognition as are all the finalists across all the categories and congratulations to them all."
Scarlet added: "It is a really nice feeling to think that someone took the time and trouble to complete a nomination."
Gale said: "We don’t do our roles for the recognition, but it is a huge boost to think that someone has noticed what you have been doing and has put your name forward."
