At the Dawn Sturgess Public Inquiry, which began at the Guildhall on October 14, CCTV footage capturing the moments before Sergei and Yulia Skripal were found on a park bench having been poisoned with Novichok.

They came into contact with the nerve agent as it had been smeared on Sergei Skripal's front door handle on Christie Miller Road.

KEEP UP TO DATE: Live: Dawn Sturgess Inquiry at Salisbury Guildhall

Sunday, March 4

At 1.35pm, the Skripals were driving to the city centre. They parked on the roof of Sainsbury’s next to Maltings.

They walked through the Maltings and stop to feed ducks in the river on the way, as seen in the footage taken at 1.42pm.

Then, they went to the Bishop’s Mill pub at 1.45pm, leaving at 2.15pm. At this point, it had been 45 minutes since they touched the door handle contaminated with Novichok.

Sergei put his hand on his head as he left the pub before he was joined by his daughter Yulia as he left the pub at 2.15pm. They then walked to Zizzi where they stayed for little over an hour, leaving at 3.35pm - two hours since they came into contact with the nerve agent.

They were still there half an hour later and passing members of the public realised they were in distress. An ambulance was called and they were given first aid, the inquiry heard.

More details on their movements are expected in the upcoming weeks.
