THE Northern Lights lit up Salisbury's skies once again last night.
On Thursday, October 10 through to the morning of Friday, October 11, keen photographers from the Salisbury Journal Camera Club captured the stunning skies as they displayed hues of pink, purple and green over the city and forest.

Aurora displays occur when charged particles collide with gases in the Earth’s atmosphere around the magnetic poles.
As they collide, light is emitted at various wavelengths, creating colourful displays in the sky.
