A CARE HOME in Salisbury has sold for undisclosed sum following the retirement of its previous long-term owners.
Inwood House, on Bellamy Lane (near Godolphin School) was owned and operated by Alan and Diana Butchers since 2003. They have now retired.
Following a confidential sales process with Charles Phillips at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by a first-time buyer who will continue trading it as a care business.
This is the second care home recently sold by Christie & Co for Alan and Diana, the other being Fairfax House in Salisbury which completed in May 2024.
Alan and Diana Butchers, former owners of Inwood House, said: “The sale of Inwood House marks the end of over 25 years of us owning and operating care homes and we leave with great memories.
"It has been a pleasure looking after our residents in both Inwood House and Fairfax House over the years and we will miss them all.
"However, we felt that now was a good time for us to retire and pass the homes on to new owners. We wish the new owners of Inwood House all the best.”
Inwood House was sold for an undisclosed price.
