An unrecognised painting sold for more than £81,000 at auction.
'A View of London from Greenwich with St Paul's and the Isle of Dogs in the Distance' by Susanna Drury was discovered in a house in Richmond.
Jeremy Lamond, from Salisbury’s Woolley and Wallis, oversaw the sale.
Mr Lamond will discuss this and other remarkable finds at the Young Gallery on Tuesday, October 15, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
The gallery is located above the library.
Tickets for the 'Conversations on Art' event can be purchased online, and are not available at the door.
