POLICE have issued an urgent appeal in an effort to find a woman who went missing in the Salisbury area.
The woman, Sharon Jones, 47, was last seen at 6.40am on October 5, and police have said they are "increasingly concerned for her welfare".
Ms Jones is described as being about 5ft 7in with long blonde hair and a pale complexion.
Here is the police statement in full: "We are urgently appealing for any information about Sharon, 47, who has been reported missing from the Salisbury area.
"Sharon was last seen at 6.40am yesterday (October 5) and we are increasingly concerned for her welfare.
"Please call 999 if you sight Sharon, and quote reference 54240117586, or 101 if you have any information about her potential whereabouts.
"Sharon, if you are reading this please contact us and let us know you are safe and well."
