A PERSON in their 90s was treated by paramedics after 30 firefighters tackled a blaze.
On Thursday, October 3, fire crews from Salisbury, Wilton, Amesbury as well as supporting appliances from St Marys (Hampshire & IOW Fire and Rescue Service) including an aerial ladder platform were mobilised to an incident which took place on Milford Street.
Crews found a fire in the kitchen of Chinese takeaway Chef China, and ten breathing apparatus wearers used two main jets and three hose reel jets along with mechanical ventilation to extinguish the fire.
30 firefighters attended the fire that was called in at 9.15pm, and stopped almost two hours later at 11.10pm.

One person in their 90's was treated for smoke inhalation by firefighters and cared for by ambulance crews.
Chef China is expected to release a statement later today on its Facebook page.
