A BEER house raised hundreds for charity in a concert held in honour of a Salisbury man.

Rude Giant Beer House, on Brown Street, held 'Holton Fest' on Saturday, September 28 to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).

The concert, which raised £712.25 for the charity, was held in memory of Alan Holton who lost his life to the disease in 2017.

His brothers, Colin and Gary Holton, both play in several local bands and were among the five bands performing live on the night.

Colin said: "It was an absolutely brilliant evening thanks to Rude Giant. Collectively, we will make this the best venue and it was brilliantly run. A great turn out and my brother would be absolutely proud.

"Thanks to Rude Giant Beer House and the staff for being fantastic hosts."
