FURTHER electrical works are taking place at the newly-revamped Coach Park this week.
Various stakeholders gathered last month to mark the first phase of the River Park project nearing completion.
Those in attendance - including this newspaper - were told that most of the works were now complete, with further planting and seeding due to take place over winter.
But the Journal can now confirm that more work is being undertaken in the Coach Park, with electric lights being connected.

A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: “It was always planned that connecting the light columns would be one of the final tasks. We are hoping this will happen shortly, at which point we will then be able to commission the lights, backfill the trenches and do the final landscaping.”
The spokesperson added: "It was determined earlier on that it was better for costs and programme to tarmac the whole area at an earlier date and then cut out the small area where the connections are required at this point, rather than wait for all the connections to be made before doing any of the tarmac work."
