A charity concert raised more than £4,000 for a national orchestra and a church.
A Night of Music 3, held at St Thomas' Church, Salisbury, was attended by a 'packed' audience on Saturday, September 14.
The event featured a variety of performers, including nine heads of music and music teachers from the Salisbury area, four young musicians from the Royal College of Music junior department, and six youngsters playing in national youth orchestras.
The concert showcased a range of genres, from classical to jazz to pop, with performances by orchestras, bands, and ensembles composed of both children and adults.
The event was organised by the family of Cameron, a young man with complex special needs, who has been supported by the National Orchestra for All (NOFA) for six years.
The orchestra took him on as a trumpet player during a challenging period when he was out of school for a year.
The concert, which was free to attend, was an 'enormous success' and raised a total of £4,058.
The funds will be donated to NOFA and for the ongoing restoration of St Thomas' Church.
The last two concerts, held in 2020 and 2022, raised over £8,000.
