Our camera club members have taken on the 'Old Vs New' photography challenge this month.
From murals of historic figures to nature and gorgeous sunrises signalling a new day, the Salisbury Journal Camera Club members got creative to meet September's theme.
It is never easy to choose 12 best photos from the month's submissions. In no particular order:
- The Salisbury Giant stands proud in front of the 2021 mural of the 1977 Christopher the Giant by John Palmer
- The Steam Loco "Mayflower" leaves Platform 4 and passes the service train to Romsey in Platform 6 by Terry Waldron
- A prolific rose , flowering from May to end of September by Terry Waldron
- An old spider web welcomes a new day by Helen Nashwalder
- New flowers blooming on Hatchet pond by Hang Ross
- Horses churn the old ground by Jacky Chambers
- A new day lights up the trees on the old king Barrow by Derek Jones
- New season colours are emerging in the New Forest
- Out with the old day and in with the new by Pippa Coombs
- Baby Harvest mice inside poppy seed heads by Suzi Elizabeth
- Sunflowers by the Bulford Ranges by Maggie Browne
- The new leaves grow amongst the old by Tracey Crowley
Every day, our camera club members submit brilliant photographs to our camera club, some follow the theme, but others just send in images they are proud of.
Do you have a stunning photo you would like to share with us? You can post it in the camera club's group once you have joined and you might be lucky enough to see your photograph in the paper, or on our social media pages including Facebook and Instagram.
