A quiz raised more than £300 for a town foodbank.

The event, held at the Grove Building in Mere, saw participants vying for a £100 prize.

Organised by Mere Toddlers and Mere Foodbank, the quiz was well-attended and filled with moments of deep thought and laughter.

A large raffle, organised by Trudy Mead, contributed to the fundraising total, alongside a 'car boot full of donations'.

The quiz master, Penny Fennon, added a unique touch with a joke read at the end of each round.

The scores were compiled by Hamish Bell, while refreshments were managed by a group of volunteers.
