Why has some faceless wonder spoiled one of the most picturesque parts of the river Avon in Salisbury?
I am talking about the back of the library looking south. At the moment it looks as if the tide is out with all those stupid stones taking up part of where the river should be flowing.
When the river is allowed to have full flow it looks lovely with just a few of the stones showing along the side of Jenny's cafe.
This is a tourist hotspot, as, if you are in the right position, you can photograph the river with the cathedral in the background.
