A couple has shared their secrets to a long marriage as they celebrate their 65th anniversary.
Tim Mason, 87, and Penny, 83, are celebrating 65 years of marriage on September 26.
The pair met at a 21st birthday party in 1958, and married in September 1959 at a church in Farnham, Surrey.
Penny said: "He was at the bar with my brother and I thought, 'oh, he looks alright!' That was in August 1958."

The following year they had their first daughter, before going on to have two more girls.
Just one day before their marriage, Penny completed an apprenticeship and went on to become a hairdresser.
Tim worked in the air force for almost 30 years, between 1955-1984, and his career took him to various places across the UK, and even living for three years in Munich.
They have now retired in Amesbury, where they have lived for the last three years.
The Journal asked the Mason's - what's the secret to a long marriage?
Tim said: "saying, yes dear!" More conventionally, Penny said: "Compromise and communication."
The couple will celebrate on a trip to Salzberg, embarking on the Sound of Music tour and enjoying the scenery.
