AN eight-year-old from Amesbury selflessly donated her hair to charity in support of her best friend.
Tamsyn Lunn donated 15 inches of her hair to The Little Princess Trust after her best friend, Elsie, was diagnose with alopecia last year.
The charity provides free wigs to children who have lost their hair, and accepts donations of hair that is at least 12 inches in length.

In January, Elsie was given a wig by The Little Princess Trust and Tamsyn decided that she wanted to donate her hair to the charity.
Her parents gave her time to think it over, but said she was 'adamant' that it was what she wanted to do. On August 30, she went to Amesbury House of Perfection, where Bex Carter cut her hair free of charge.
Tamsyn donated 15inches of hair, and has so far raised £690 in support of the charity to help them make and fit wigs for other children who have lost their hair.
