A YOUNG girl was hit by a car outside a secondary school.
Emergency services rushed to Salisbury Street, near Burgate, at 3.21pm on Wednesday, September 11.
There had been a report that a car crashed into a 12-year-old girl outside the school.
Hampshire Police confirmed the age of the pedestrian and that she sustained "minor injuries".
Part of Salisbury Road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
South Western Ambulance Service was contacted for more information.
