RIVER Park art has been displayed at Salisbury District Hospital as part of a travelling exhibition.
After a successful summer at the Young Gallery, in Salisbury Library, a selection of artwork has been transferred to the hospital.
The exhibition tells the story of how the city's new River Park has inspired a series of unique artworks.
It shows why the artworks have been created, and what art can contribute to major developments like the River Park.

The exhibition can be found in the level three plastic surgery corridor until September 30, as part of the programme of events by ArtCare.
From October 2 a selection from the exhibition focussing on the new artworks for the play areas at Ashley Road and Fisherton Recreation Ground will be on display at Five Rivers Leisure Centre.
As part of this, a 'story chair', made by Green Play Project, has been installed in the gallery. It features drawings by children from Sarum St Paul’s Primary School, and has accompanying booklets which describe how Green Play have involved the local community in the design of the play areas.
The Salisbury River Park Arts Programme and Exhibition has been commissioned and curated by public art commissioning agency Studio Response with support from the Environment Agency, Wiltshire Council and Salisbury City Council.
