A Salisbury Journal camera club member has reached the final of a prestigious photography competition.
Hang Ross, 48, lives in Lyndhurst, and has been a participant of the camera club since 2019. She enjoys taking photos as a hobby, and this year she entered her first photography competition following a visit to Japan to see the blossom.
Hang said: "We went out there together in March only to find blossom was two weeks behind and only a few of the trees had blossomed."

She flew home with just a handful of pictures.
She added: "We then went to France with our son for Easter but having got back from France, I had managed to scrape together enough airmiles to jump on a flight back to Tokyo. I landed and drove directly to Fuji and climbed the steep stairs for that evenings sun set!
"The blossom was finished within three days due to rain and wind, but it was so beautiful"
Hang's photo, titled 'Cloud and Sakura blossom carpet' has reached the final 25, and she is asking Salisbury to vote for her picture as part of the public vote. She will travel to London later this year where the winner will be announced.
