Abigail said: “We’ve just moved here, on August 1, and we kept our two cats in four three weeks. From Sunday, August 24, he was going out and coming in, just from the garden, and then come Wednesday we were like ‘right, let’s open the cat flap’. He went out but didn’t return.”
Abigail and Brendan moved from Gillingham to Whaddon in Alderbury. Since Mogwai went missing, they've put up posters in their village for locals to see.
She added: "He’s very very friendly; he likes to get into everything, and he is very nosy. He loves dogs but is not best with other cats. But dogs and people, he loves them. He's my first baby.
"If someone who knows him shouts his name, he comes running."
The couple have had Mogwai since he was just four weeks old, and he is now four years old.
He is a Bengal cat, with leopard-like spots and brown fur.
