In a statement, the alleged victim said that he had his hands around her neck for “about a minute” and she thought she was “going to die” because she struggled to breathe. She said that she could “picture” herself on the news.
The court also heard that Mr Wiltshire “scratched his name into her skin on her arm” and that she now has scarring.
In Salisbury Magistrates Court on September 6, chair magistrate Jodie Miley said that Mr Wiltshire would be sent to Salisbury Crown Court to go to trial.
