A FIRE station opened its doors to the public in a bid to raise money for a charity which supports fire fighters.
Amesbury Fire Station held a free-to-visit, fun-filled open day on Saturday, August 31.
All funds raised were donated to the Fire Fighters Charity which offers specialist, lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community.
The event featured real fire demonstrations, including hot oil fires, and Blaze Bear made an appearance.
There were plenty of activities for children such as a colouring competition, firefighter dress up and hose squirting.
Additionally, all proceeds from the fire service shop went to the Fire Fighters Charity.
