SGN has said it can't confirm how long it will take to work on reported gas leaks in Salisbury.
After concerns were raised about a smell of gas, distribution company SGN sent engineers to Wilton Road on the morning of Wednesday, August 28.
Temporary traffic lights have been set up while urgent works are carried out, causing traffic to build up along St Paul's Roundabout and Wilton Road.

Engineers on site described there to be "multiple" gas leaks, and said that they were hoping to complete works "as soon as possible".
A spokesperson SGN Bradley Barlow said: "We are currently investigating a reported smell of gas in Wilton Road, Salisbury. For everyone's safety, we have installed temporary two-way traffic lights to allow our teams to excavate on the gas main in the carriageway.
"We're working to complete our repair as soon as possible but it's too early to say how long our work will take. We're sorry for any inconvenience this urgent work may cause."
No homes or businesses have been evacuated but bus passengers should expect disruption due to stops on either side of the road near Fountain Way being suspended.
