AN uninsured driver who drove his new car without a valid licence has appeared in court.
Xhavit Vogli, of no fixed abode, was caught driving a 2024 Nissan Qashqai along London Road on August 22 when he had no policy of insurance.
Vogli was also driving otherwise in accordance with a valid driving licence.

The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to both offences at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Saturday, August 24.
His driving record was endorsed with six penalty points and he was fined £50 for the insurance offence.
Magistrates ordered Vogli to pay a surcharge of £20 and issued no separate penalty for the driving without a licence offence.
