A DAY of golf raising money for the charity which saves people at sea is returning for its sixth year.

High Post Golf Club is hosting its annual RNLI Charity Golf Day on Monday, September 16.

This will be the sixth Golf Day held at the club for teams of four for men, ladies or mixed.

The day starts at 12 noon with an 18 hole fun competition, followed by a two course meal, prize giving and a raffle.

The RNLI Salisbury & Wilton Branch will also be holding a street collection in Salisbury city centre on Saturday, October 12, as part of the RNLI’s National Street Collection week as part of the 200th Anniversary fund raising campaign.

A spokesperson for the RNLI branch said: "It's a great day out in support of the charity that saves lives at sea in its 200th Anniversary year."
