A Doctor Who star will visit the Everyman in Salisbury for the screening of a "lost" animated series from the 1990s.
Sophie Aldred stars as Saffron in a six part series of five minute episodes, created from a two day shoot of over 1000 photos.
Animator Paul Thomas was promised a television screening of his series, but it was never shown.
Paul, who has lived in Salisbury for 17 years, said: “Saffron Slade exists in black and white. She’s young, intelligent, inquisitive and enjoys encounters with the unusual, the unexpected and the fantastic!

"Saffron lives in a cartoon town as the world around her animates in colour.”
The question of why the series was never shown is answered in two new documentary shorts, SAFFRON RISING and SAFFRON STORIES featuring Sophie and Paul, alongside a screening of all six episodes at the Everyman cinema.
The event will take place on Sunday, September 1 at 4pm, lasting for approximately an hour.
Paul added: "I'm so proud this event is happening here. On the day Sophie Aldred, who was 'Ace' in Doctor Who and I will be there and our audience can see the series and a documentary.
"There's a Q&A, signings for the DVD that'll be on sale plus posters and badges. Then we meet and greet."
