The author of an award-winning fantasy series will host a signing in Salisbury for the release of her fourth book.
A.F. Steadman will visit Salisbury Waterstones on Tuesday, October 15 at 4.30pm, where she will conduct a public signing of Skandar and the Skeleton Curse - the fourth book in her award-winning SKANDAR series.
The blockbuster fantasy series about bloodthirsty unicorns, sky battles and magic has captured the imaginations of thousands of young readers over nine years old. The fourth instalment is one of the most highly anticipated children’s books of 2024, and will release on October 10.

Each book so far has been launched with a global tour, with previous signings seeing hundreds queuing to meet A.F. Steadman for up to four hours at a time.
Since the series first emerged, it has been translated into 46 languages and won numerous awards, including Waterstones Children’s Book of the Year 2022. Waterstones called the first book “the single most exciting and acclaimed children’s novel since Harry Potter”.
Tickets are £14.99, which includes entry and a copy of Skandar and the Skeleton Curse, available for collection on the day. One dault per child can enter for free.
Skandar books will be available to purchase from the bookshop on the day for those wishing not to purchase tickets in advance.
