A FREE outdoor big band event is coming to Salisbury at the end of August.
Swing Unlimited Big Band will be on the lawns outside Salisbury Cathedral on Sunday, August 25 for an afternoon of free music.
Everyone is welcome to come along to have a picnic on the lawn outside the cathedral and enjoy an afternoon of singing, dancing and jazz music.
An outdoor bar and refreshment stalls will also be available.

Swing Unlimited are based in Bournemouth and perform gigs and special events across the south of England. Their outdoor appearances at Salisbury are becoming a regular feature of summer in the city.
Last year hundreds of local families turned up, bringing their own picnics, to enjoy a couple of hours of foot-tapping song and dance.
Swing Unlimited will be playing outside the cathedral from 1pm on August 25. The event is free, with no booking required.
