A WILTSHIRE village’s village show saw hundreds of entries at the beginning of August.
The Whitsbury Village Show was held on Saturday, August 3. This was the first time since 2022 that the event was held.
In conjunction with the show, a scarecrow competition was held, with entries showing scarecrows having gone fishing, trying their hands at show jumping and even rappelling out of a tree.
Alongside the scarecrows, which were displayed throughout the village, there were numerous flowers, vegetables and fruit, floral art, handicrafts, cookery and photography on display, with multiple prizes to be won.
Around 50 people produced more than 275 entries in the various categories.
