Developers have made detailed plans for the renovation of Cathedral Hotel, and a Journal reporter was invited to visit the vacant premises.
The site has been empty since it closed in July 2022, and proposals are now being shared to transform the building into a boutique hotel with a rooftop bar.
The new owner's plan to turn the building, which has been empty since July 2022, into a high-quality boutique hotel with 13 luxury suites, "filling a crucial gap in Salisbury’s local hospitality market, drawing more visitors and significant expenditure to this great city and saving a historic hotel building".
