If you're looking for summer holiday activities for all the family, this year's CarFest promises another weekend of endless family fun at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire across the upcoming August bank holiday weekend (August 23-25).

Now in it's 13th year, CarFest – the brainchild of radio presenter Chris Evans – offers an incredible combination of cars, food, live music and family entertainment.

With an eclectic mix of musical talent, it’s sure to cater to the taste of the whole family. Rock and roll like never before with the legendary talents of former Verve lead singer Richard Ashcroft; glam-rock superstar Jake Shears, lead singer of Scissor Sisters, and former Smiths guitar virtuoso Johnny Marr.

Adding to the already bustling lineup will be Kula Shaker, DJ Judge Jules, A-list actor Damian Lewis, Johnny Hates Jazz, Olly Murs, Sam Ryder, Beverley Knight, Scouting for Girls, UB40 ft Ali Campbell, Deacon Blue and The Feeling.

Beyond the music, CarFest (presented by bp pulse) will feature three new StarFest stage talents: Ed Byrne, the witty and observational comedian known for his television appearances; Jay Blades, the skilled furniture restorer and presenter famous for his work on BBC's "The Repair Shop"; and Russell Kane, the dynamic comedian recognised for his sharp wit and humour. The three stars will take the stage alongside the likes of car aficionado James May, actor and TV presenter Rob Brydon, astronaut Tim Peake, architect George Clarke, BAFTA winner Ben Miller, and Ted Lasso star James Lance.

Meanwhile, at KidsFest, the brand-new STEM Zone, inspired by GraviTrax, is packed with diverse, hands-on activities designed to ignite the imaginations of future scientists and engineers. Dive into robotics and engineering with Computer Xplorers, uncover geological marvels with the Royal Geology Society, and explore engineering projects with Basingstoke College of Technology. The STEM Zone will offer captivating chemistry experiments by the Royal Chemistry Society and don’t miss Mission X’s space-themed activities, perfect for budding astronauts.

Additionally, for the foodies among us, CarFest will be returning with a feast of talent at this year’s FoodFest. Head on over to The Chef’s Stage Prepped and Served by Cuisinart, hosted by baker extraordinaire, Briony May Williams.

This year the festival will be supporting the charities BBC Children in Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, My Black Dog, Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust, Young Epilepsy, and local Hampshire-based charity Naomi House & Jacksplace.
