People are being invited to join a week-long celebration of Salisbury history in an exciting programme of events and activities.
The Salisbury History Festival will run from August 26-31 and is being organised by Fisherton History Society.
Following on from the sold-out event ’With the Rolling Stones' in June in association with Wiltshire Creative, the official Salisbury History Festival week of events brings you a whole array of goodies.
The new Fisherton History Society website will give full festival details while providing on-going historical research, photographs, and much more.
Local history authors, their books and how Salisbury inspired them will also be showcased during the final event at the United Reformed Church on Saturday, August 31.
Organiser Frogg Moody said: “Salisbury is an amazing city steeped in history and our annual festival is a great opportunity to celebrate and share it.
"I would urge people to join in the celebrations, follow the activities on social media and enjoy the great content available.”
