A WOMEN’S clothing shop is closing after 11 years.
Conker Boutique, in the Maltings, will shut its doors for good at the end of August, it announced earlier this month.
Sarah Hayden runs the shop and told the Journal that the their lease is ending and she has decided not to continue.
Sarah, who lives just outside Salisbury, says she will be getting involved in other things once the shop is no longer open, but that she won’t be opening another shop in the city.
Sarah added: “We have been through a lot over the years, with novichok and then Covid, and the council has not helped the footfall in the city, But we have done very well over the years and I am sad to be going.
“It has been an amazing time for me and I have met some incredible people.”
Conker is currently running a closing down sale, with 50 per cent off several items in store.
Located at 9 The Maltings, it is open from 10.30am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 11am to 3pm on Sundays.
