MORE than 100 people gathered for a garden party to raise money for Salisbury theatre.
The large crowd gathered in the beautiful gardens of Mr and Mrs Joe Studholme's Court House, in Lower Woodford, for Studio Theatre's bi-annual party.
Actors from the Ashley Road theatre performed under a beaming sun a mixture of Shakespearean sonnets, sea shanties and sketches on Sunday, July 21.
The studio holds fund-raising events in between its main productions to build the pot of money used for running the theatre.
Used by several community groups, including the Scouts, the building recently had a large new extension and this money also goes towards maintenance.
The event attracted more than 100 people including Salisbury's member of parliament John Glen.
This was the seventh time the Studholmes had hosted Studio Theatre's garden party.
Jackie Pilkington, from Studio Theatre, said: "We cannot thank Mr and Mrs Joe Studholme enough for their kindness in throwing open their gardens and hospitality to Studio Theatre year after year.
"It is always a hugely enjoyable and creative experience."
