A WOMAN who drove her car while she was more than three times over the alcohol limit has dodged immediate imprisonment.
Lisa Stone, 32, had a staggering 150 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of her breath when she was stopped by police in Harbridge on March 25.
This was more than three times the legal limit of 35mcg.
Stone, of Churchill Close, Alderholt, also had no valid driving licence or insurance for the white Renault she was driving.
Appearing at Poole Magistrates' Court on Monday, July 29, Stone was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for a year.
Magistrates determined Stone's drink driving offence so serious that only a custodial sentence could be justified.
Stone, who pleaded guilty to the offences on July 3, was also banned from driving for 36 months.
She must abstain from drinking any alcohol for 120 days.

Furthermore, Stone was ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work in addition to 15 rehabilitation activity days.
Magistrates issued a collection order for £85 court costs and a £154 surcharge to be deducted from Stone's benefits.
There was no separate penalty for driving without insurance and without a licence.
