A PARTY has formed to search for a missing boy as concerns for him grow.

UPDATE: Jaheim has been found

Daniella Maria, 34, lives in Ludgershall and has rallied people from across Wiltshire to join in the search to show Jaheim's parents that "the community wants to help".

Daniella expects around 100 people to join the search for the 15-year-old, who went missing from Tidworth at 8am on Saturday morning, July 20.

The search party will sweep Tidworth and dish out flyers to local businesses as they go.

If they don't find Jaheim, the group will search Andover the following day before branching out elsewhere across the region.

Daniella, who claims she spoke with a supportive PCSO before forming the party, said: "Once 24 hours passed, I was waiting to see if someone was going to start a search party but I thought I better get on and do it myself.

"[The police] has no issues with us, they are very encouraging and if anything appreciative. There's no evidence where this boy could be so we can't mess anything up."

A total of 400 posters have been printed and anyone wanting to join the search is asked to meet outside Tidworth Leisure Centre, in Nadder Road, at 6pm on Monday evening, July 22.

Drone pilots will be flying over Salisbury Plain in a bid to rule out the large area.

Daniella said the public had grown "quite frustrated" about an alleged lack of police presence in Tidworth, adding: "We thought it can't hurt getting a bit of information out there."

Anyone with information about Jaheim is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 999 quoting log 221 of July 20.

A spokesperson for the force previously said: "Jaheim, if you are reading this please either contact your parents or call us on 999.

"It is very important that you let us know you are safe."

Wiltshire Police have been approached for comment.
