A much-loved garden show is returning to the city centre this summer.
The annual Allotments & Gardens Salisbury Horticultural Show will take place this year on Saturday, August 17.
The show is taking place in The United Reformed Church in Fisherton Street and will be open to the public between 1.45pm and 4pm.
This event is celebrating its 18th year and gives AGAS members and members of the public the opportunity to display their horticultural achievements.
AGAS chair Lindsey Bellringer said: “This year we want to celebrate what we have all achieved by having a bumper number of exhibits in the Show."

She added: "We want to encourage lots of new exhibitors to challenge the more experienced. Remember, it is fun and don’t underestimate the quality of what you have grown.”
The show is not only to exhibit vegetables as there will be other categories such as flowers, cookery, photography and art. There will also be the opportunity to buy plants, produce, preserves, and books from the stalls outside the venue.
The judging of exhibits will take place between 10.45am and 1.30pm, and for them to be eligible for prizes, they must be displayed between 8am and 10.15am that morning. Salisbury Mayor, Sven Hocking, will award the prizes.
