PATIENTS attending A&E should expect a longer wait as staff are relying on "old fashioned" paperwork due to a worldwide IT outage.
Salisbury District Hospital is experiencing problems with its patient administration systems and staff are having to manually register new patients.

All "front-door" services are the hospital are affected by the outage, this includes the accident and emergency and maternity departments.
A spokesperson for the hospital has asked people to be patient with staff as the service will be slower as they're relying on "old fashioned paperwork".
The hospital's rota software 'Allocate' is also not working but a contingency plan has been put in place.
Staffing issues are not anticipated but bank workers, which the hospital has a lot of, may be impacted.
Outpatients and planned appointments should be unaffected and attended as normal.
