A TEEN will stand trial after he denied carrying a knife in the city centre after England lost the Euros final.

Ryan Moore, 18, of Carmelite Way, was arrested and charged on suspicion of possessing a knife in New Canal on Sunday night, July 14.

Moore was allegedly seen with a weapon in a packed city centre on the night England lost to Spain in the Euros final.

He pleaded not guilty to the single charge at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, July 16.

Moore will stand trial in the same court at 2pm on October 21.

Magistrates remanded Moore on unconditional bail.
