A THIEF who stole bottles of alcohol on four occasions within a week has appeared in court.
Kurt Challoner, of Jaggard View in Amesbury, pleaded guilty to four counts of theft at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on May 24.
The 28-year-old stole a handful of goods from Co-Op in Wilton during a crime spree in February.
Challoner bagged a £24 bottle of Absolut vodka on February 2 then stole another bottle of spirits valued £22 the following day.
The thief returned on February 5 to steal a £24.50 bottle of Gordon's Pink Gin and another bottle of spirits on February 7.
Magistrates fined Challoner £300 and ordered him to pay £92.50 compensation to the Co-Op.
He must also pay court costs of £85 and a surcharge of £120.
