A TEENAGER has been charged after he was allegedly caught with a weapon in the city centre.
Ryan Moore, of no fixed abode, was arrested and charged on suspicion of possessing a knife in New Canal on Sunday night, July 14.
Moore was allegedly seen with a weapon in a packed city centre on the night England lost to Spain in the Euro final.
The 18-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Tuesday morning, July 16.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We have charged a man after he was seen carrying a knife in New Canal, Salisbury, on Sunday night (14/07).
“Ryan Moore, 18, of no fixed abode, has been charged with possessing a knife in a public place.
“He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court this morning (16/07).”
