Wiltshire Creative's youth theatre, Stage 65, is set to present an evening of Philip Pullman's Grimm Tales at Salisbury's Arts Centre.
The theatre group's production, adapted by Philip Wilson and including additional elements by Jayne Woodhouse, promise to imbue original stories with spectral narratives and unpredictable twists.
The Arts Centre, a repurposed ex-church, will serve as the backdrop for the supernatural theatre experience.
Audience members will have a chance to explore the historic building, hear about its anecdotal haunts and meet a theatrical ghost who will narrate a mix of new and familiar tales.
This amateur production organised by Wiltshire Creative maintains unreserved seating on a raked layout ensuring an optimal viewing experience for all attendees.
Stage 65 gears up to celebrate its 60th birthday next year and this production has more than 80 youngsters, with many engaging behind the scenes tasks like costume design, lighting, sound and marketing.
The presentation adheres to the Theatre Green Book guidelines, indicating sustainability initiatives have been employed, including the use of recycled and reusable materials.
Being an inclusive theatre, Stage 65, encourages young people of all abilities to explore creative channels and has impacted over 8,000 children this past year.
